An Advent journey through the Gospel of John

All are warmly invited to join us as we take time out in preparation for the celebration of Christmas. Over 4 sessions we will explore the theme of ‘Light’ in the gospel of John considering how this may have been understood in biblical times and what it has to say to us today as we live our lives in the 21st Century. Our 4 sessions will be:

• In the Beginning… (John 1:1-14)
• The Light Shines… (John 3:1-21)
• Light of the World… (John 8:12-20 & 9:1-12)
• Children of Light… (John

Christmas Toddler Praise

A short, fun session of songs, games and stories for under 5’s and their adults, followed by drinks and a biscuit

Join us at our Sunday morning gathering for a Christingle service, supporting the work of the Children’s Society.
Young and old, families or individuals, all are welcome to join us as we celebrate together and sing some Advent hymns and carols!

An uplifting service of Christmas carols, festive readings, followed by mince pies and mulled wine.  Fun for all the family, all welcome!

A Christmassy Afternoon

Join us for a time of carols (led by St John’s choir), festive readings, mulled wine, mince pies and a cup of tea!

This afternoon is aimed at adults, but all are welcome. Drop us a quick note to register interest.

Community Carols

Come and join us on the Field of Remembrance for Carols around the Christmas Tree. We will start singing from 4pm. The carols we will be singing are available for digital download to a mobile device or can be printed prior to the event (We will have some Carol Sheets with us too).

If you are local please consider walking to the field to help alleviate local congestion. Do bring a torch with you and dress warm and snug as we will be out in the open!
